Those are obviously not world records for weight lifting.
But they are my records currently using the 5×5 system as popularized by Mehdi of Stronglifts.com.
And I am not complaining since I am 57 and doing squats, deadlifts and Presses and feeling better every workout.
Feeling stronger every workout.
I know that I have a ways to go, I also know I have a bit of anxiety as the weights are getting heavier.
Two weeks ago, my back felt pretty strained.
I did not think that I could go up easily in weight, but yesterday I did after having rested on the weekend.
The good news is that I started with just the bar and at least on squats , should be able to hit 90lbs, double where I started in the beginning of April.
