Another Day, Another Pound
Aldo made more good gains, losses actually today. First of all he got to sleep by 12 last night, 11 would be better, but it is acceptable. He got up earlier than expected at 6am, did some pushups, go Aldo, and since there is a blizzard starting up outside, he went to use the treadmill at the gym. He did 2 miles on the treadmill, walking from between 3.5mph to 4.0mph. He told me that after 26minutes or so, he felt strong enough to jog. So he went up to 4.5mph, started to jog, and then went up to 5.0mph and went even faster for a couple of minutes.
All in all, he did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 2.12 miles in distance. He said he is looking forward to the walking, feels great after and even did more pushups and some squats on his own.
Then after a shower, he went on the scale and found that he is down to 194.4lb and 22.3% body fat, he could not be happier. He is 3 pounds down in the last 3 days, which is great progress.
This time, he made his own hashi mashi in the morning, he did not have avocado or hummus, so he used what he had, cherry tomatoes, garlic, onion and spinach, 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites, tablespoon of olive oil and light balsamic vinegar.
I am encouraging him to keep going and I do not think that he needs a huge amount of motivation at this point because he ate well yesterday, had a good workout and is doing great.
