Deadlifting 170 pounds seemed out of reach for me not too long ago.I want to get stronger as time goes on and deadlifts are a reasonable ticket to do my best to make that happen.First, as usual, I believe that a squat workout before deadlifts is a great way to warm up for your deadlift workout.I know that some people out there encourage doing a lower and upper body workout on the same day. There are others who recommend splitting your upper body and lower body workouts. At this … [Read more...] about Deadlift and Squat Workout 170 & 130 pounds
How to Lose 100 Pounds or More, Get Fitter and Stronger - Tips for Mental & Physical Fitness - The Story of Hashi Mashi
Once upon a time, when I was hovering at 275 pounds, I was called 'fat bastard'. I know, not too much fun. That did not feel good. I had idea how to get fitter and stronger. One evening after having tried so many diets, I figured I would do something different. I thought to focus on vegetables, fresh foods, stay away from processed, and added deadlifts, squats, pushups, pull-ups and bench press. I am under 200 pounds now and still a work in progress, but fitter and stronger than before. In this category, I hope to motivate anyone else who has struggled with obesity, depression, family estrangement, and/or life after divorce for men or women to get fitter and stronger than ever before.
