So Today, actually yesterday, Wed morning, I was up by about 830am believe it or not. I have been working on starting the day early. I went to the gym and went for additional weight in the squat. I was very pleased to be able to make it up to 125lbs. I did at least 5 warm up squats, and then was able to do all 5 sets with 5 reps for each set. I seemed to warm up and get stronger after the second set. For shoulder press, I went up to 80lbs, but still feel a tinge of discomfort in the shoulder. Next time I will warm up alot more. Deadlift felt really good, I went up to 155lb and used the mixed grip. where my left hand gripped the bar over hand and my right gripped it under hand. It felt pretty good and I felt like I could definitely keep going up. With the squat, I am not really sure. I am looking at making an attempt to go up to 130lbs on friday. That would be amazing.
So now we get to the meat of this post. Motivation. How motivated would you be if you felt that you could walk into a clothing store and fit into a new suit or outfit off of the rack? I am telling you that it feels great. I went through it today. I have a wedding to attend on Friday. Most of the people there have not seen me for the amount of time that I have been doing Hashimashi. My guess is that they might be pretty shocked. In any case, I thought it would be appropriate to get a suit that fits, since most of my others need too much alterations and are frankly, quite old, some even ten years old. That is too much, right?
I had heard about a sale going on at a neighborhood shop here which is selling suits that are modeled after the style of a tv show called madmen. Have you heard of it? I saw one of their suits, it is some type of blue color, mild blue, with a nice plaid to it. It looked sharp. So first I started with 34 waist trousers. Nope, too big, then I tried on 33 waist trousers, that was pretty comfortable , but still felt a bit too big in the legs. Then I tried on 32waist. That fit quite good. So good in fact that the staff in the store called each other to see . The 32 waist pants fit right off the rack. Then I went to the jackets, first 44, nope, that was way too big, then 42 Regular, still a bit big, did not show my v shape in my back at all, and finally went to 40 Regular, and that fit just fine.
How did it feel? to buy a suit off the rack that even the sales people says looks really good, I know , that is no proof, but I could tell, it is fitting like a glove. Does that motivate you at all to get things under control? Yes? No? Tell me, tell us, please share!
I thought many times about wanting to be able to fit into a suit where I looked better than presentable.
All that junk food and laying around doing nothing is not helping you in the clothing department, it sure did not help me. So I understand. Hope you can dump the junk, eat real food, do real strength exercises and experience the new you like I have really soon!

I did 40 which is not awful in the scheme of things, so that actually motivated me.
