What can a Papaya do for you? I sort of got thrust into this question because of experiencing digestive issues the last few weeks. As a result, I have been searching around the web to locate foods that will do a better job of improving my feeling, especially foods that will help more than the cookies, ice cream and chips I would usually have to assuage anxiety. So the first one I have run across which seems to pop up everywhere is the Papaya. And today, I will be updating more info on this interesting fruit. Suffice it to say, I had no real prior experience with this fruit, but last night I bought two of them off a vendor. They were pretty ripe. They do taste weird, but not bad, sort of sweet, sort of not, but somewhat refreshing. Yesterday, I was up to 221 pounds. Man, that hurts. And yesterday I can say that I was feeling a bit like I was in space because my body was really feeling whacked out. I think it was a combination of not having food or water for 26 or 27 hours the previous day and then the jolt of bagels and lox, honey cake, rugelach, orange juice, cookies, rice and heavy junk food the next. If I had just keeled over yesterday, I would not have been surprised at all. Today, this morning, I am definitely feeling better after yesterday just going cold turkey and having two papayas. Me thinks that I will get some more! I will get some more technical details up here throughout the day, but in the meantime, just know that this fruit has a huge concentration of vitamin C, is known to aid in digestion and has a reputation for revitalizing your system. No, I do not sell Papayas, so you will have to find them on your own. I also found out that the Papaya trees seem to grow all over the tropic areas and produce fruit just about year round. Awesome!
