14 days of swimming. so far sticking to it. I think that progress has been made because on day 1 which was June 26, I did 36 laps in about 45minutes. Tonight I did 72 laps in 50 minutes, so must be getting stronger. I have to think of the next good habit to add. In the meantime I am overloaded with alot of work to do, so that is critical. Perhaps I can add pushups to the mix. Also have to work on some bad habits to kick, no, not smoking. Why wait till New Years? Make New Years in the summer, I cannot wait. Time to act is now. I have one which I have tried to master for decades to no avail. Will keep thinking about that one. If you had one bad habit that you wanted to conquer, what is it?
So I thought about what new goal I can add to the mix here and I am going to go with pushups. Something relatively simple and shoot for completing it about 8 weeks from now. The goal is to be able to do 100 consecutive pushups, ha! I think I would be lucky to do 10 consecutive now, but hey, that is the point of the goal. Believe it or not, there is actually a program out there (everything seems to be on the web!) for getting to a hundred pushups at http://hundredpushups.com .
