Diabetic Complications

- stroke,

- blindness.
You can prevent and even cure type 2 diabetes by changing your lifestyle.
Wouldn’t you rather learn how to lose weight than lose a limb to diabetes?
How Can Type Two Diabetes be Reversed Permanently?
All you have to do is to lose weight.
Of course, if losing weight was so easy in our culture, we would not need thousands of diets and programs on how to achieve a normal weight.
In theory, being at your ideal weight should be as easy as breathing.
Weight loss should not be rocket science.
Before the advent of processed and junk foods, most Americans did not need a guide on how to lose weight.
In the early 20th century, there was little need to be concerned about overweight or obesity. Today, the estimate is that 75% of men and women in the US are either overweight or obese.
The question is why are so many people overweight or obese, despite all the published diet books and plans over the last 50 years.
The brief answer is ultra-processed industrialized food which is manufactured in factories. As well as too much sitting.
The biggest problems are an extreme lack of real food and physical activity.
Type 2 diabetes is a result of poor lifestyle choices and frankly, being too fat.

The following University of Newcastle study concludes that through weight loss alone, you can protect yourself from type 2 diabetes.

Can type 2 diabetes be cured permanently?
Millions of people suffering from Type 2 diabetes can be cured by losing weight, a new study suggests.
How Does Type 2 Diabetes Develop?
Scientists at Newcastle University have shown the disease is caused by fat accumulating in the pancreas.
Lose less than one gram from the pancreas to reverse the life-limiting illness and restore insulin production.
Type 2 diabetes affects 3.3 million people in England and Wales and, until now, was thought to be chronic. It can lead to:
- blindness,
- stroke,
- kidney failure, and
- limb amputation.
“For people with Type 2 diabetes, losing weight allows them to drain excess fat out of the pancreas and allows the function to return to normal” -Professor Roy Taylor, Newcastle University
How to Reverse Diabetes Type 2 Permanently
But now researchers at Newcastle on diabetes in the UK have shown that the disease can be reversed, even in obese people who have had the condition for a long time.
18 obese people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes received gastric band surgery. A subsequent 8-week low-calorie diet cured their condition of type 2 diabetes.
During the clinical trials, the patients, aged between 25 and 65, lost an average of 2.2 stone or 30.8 pounds, which was around 13 percent of their body weight.
Crucially they also lost 0.6 grams of fat from their pancreas, allowing the organ to secrete normal levels of insulin. The journal of clinical endocrinology reports that this team plans to conduct a two-year study of 200 people with diabetes at Glasgow University.
They want to verify that they can reverse the disease of type 2 diabetes through weight loss. In addition, they want to ensure that long term weight loss can be sustained for two years.

Achieve the Ideal Weight for Your Height
“For people with Type 2 diabetes, losing weight allows them to drain excess fat out of the pancreas and allows the function to return to normal,” said Professor Roy Taylor, of Newcastle University who also works within the Newcastle Hospitals.
“So if you ask how much weight you need to lose to make your diabetes go away, the answer is one gram.
But that gram needs to be fat from the pancreas.
At present, the only way we have to achieve remission is by calorie restriction by any means, whether by a supervised calorie diet or through bariatric surgery.
“What is interesting is that regardless of your present body weight and how you lose weight, the critical factor in reversing diabetes is losing that one gram of fat from the pancreas.” Read the entire article here.

Can Type 2 Diabetes Be Reversed Permanently – Final Thoughts
Yes, believe it or not, you can permanently reverse type 2 diabetes.
As opposed to type 1 diabetes, where the beta cells of your pancreas no longer produce insulin, your pancreas still works.
In the case of type 1 diabetes, your blood sugar levels rise because you do not have enough insulin.
Whereas, in the case of type 2 diabetes, your blood sugar levels elevate because of a lack of insulin sensitivity, which you can reverse through diet and exercise.
Do not lose this golden opportunity to heal yourself of the diabetic nightmare.
If you have type 2 diabetes or are at risk, this article will motivate you to get back into shape.
Just losing one gram of fat from the pancreas enables your body to function properly again.
