The Get Fit Fast Diet
The Get Fit Fast Diet is not so simple!
All good things come to an end, right?
After several really good days, Aldo called me up this morning and told me that when he woke up, he was 197lbs, almost what he was when he started.
Oh boy, he is really discouraged.
He said that he hardly ate yesterday and why , how could he gain weight?
So, we had to troubleshoot his get fit fast diet.
Turns out yesterday that he had a fine breakfast, nothing wrong there, about 10am which was too late to start, but not so terrible.
The next problem was that he did not eat again for another 5 hours till 3pm. That is bad. Too long between meals, so he had set himself up to get too hungry. As a result, he told me that he made the fruit salad, but when I asked how much, it turned out that he made a huge bowl of way too much fruit, he put everything in there but the kitchen sink.
Grapes, pineapple, berries, peanut butter, yogurt, honey, maybe 5 or 6 cups worth. He had a little of it before 330 and then waited another 4 hours! No, no no. Then of course he was really hungry by 730, had the rest of the fruit salad and topped it off with a turkey sandwich and chicken soup.
Fortunately he stopped the damage by 8pm, but all that fruit and too many hours between meals took it’s toll. Here is what I told him.
Go to the gym and instead of sitting around and being depressed and doing nothing and going back to your old ways, I told him to not do 1 mile, or even 2 miles, but to do 3 miles which we had read yesterday will really kick his fat burning into gear. After that I want him to have some good meals, but no more huge bowls of fruit, one fruit and one yogurt, not a yogurt and 10 fruits.
We will see what happens tomorrow! The Adventures of Aldo and the get fit fast diet!
Will he be able to get back on track?
How many years have you been trying to lose weight? Or how many years have you kept it off?
I know it is not so easy after a lifetime of bad habits, but I hope that he can stay the course.
Do you have any advice for Aldo?
Thanks!
